Sell from the Gate app

Any volunteer can sell. No register to set up, and nothing extra to buy for cash.

Ready on night one. Every school starts with a menu of 21 items and suggested prices. Switch items on, change prices, and add your own from your dashboard.

Cash or card. Take cash, or cards on a Stripe card reader (sold separately): tap, insert or swipe.

Many phones at once. Run as many phones as you need, each with its own reader. Managers see every sale as it happens.

Mistakes fixed fast. A volunteer can void their own sale for 10 minutes. Managers can void any sale until the game ends.

Buyers pay a small fee when they pay by card. Cash has no fees at all. Pick an order total to see it.

Questions

Do we need special hardware? Not for cash. To take cards, pair a Stripe Reader M2 with the Gate app over Bluetooth.

What does it cost? Cash sales are free. Card sales carry a 10% service fee, capped at $3.00 per order, plus card processing, both paid by the buyer. Your school keeps the full menu price.

Can we sell tickets and food from the same phone? Yes. Both are in the Gate app, one tap apart.

When do we get card money? With your weekly Wednesday payout, at least 3 days after the sale. Cash stays with you.

What if we get stuck? Our team sets up your account and your school's page with you. After that, SpiritBot answers how-to questions right in your dashboard, and you can always email support@spiritswipe.com.
